Reason for objection:

Objection. This PA is little different from its predecessor 25/01327 which we objected to & was withdrawn by the applicant. We believe the following elements remain unsatisfactory & would harm the character & appearance of this grade 2* listed building for no public benefit: patterned floor tiling to upper storey (ie new condiments & drinks area), new open staircase without traditional balustrade/ banister rails & modernistic wall mural at ground floor entrance/ adjacent to staircase. Furthermore several wall finishes to the new first floor configuration have been left as ‘TBC’ which is unacceptable.
