Reason for objection:

Objection Although not in a CA, this site is very prominent/ exposed. It is close to the grade 2 listed Keep & these plans would have a detrimental impact on the setting of that building. In particular, the mass & scale of the front boundary wall treatment to the proposed new building is far too great, almost reminiscent of a prison, and needs to be re-worked in order not to detract from the character & appearance of the neighbouring listed building.
