Objection.
Our comments on 24/01710 refer.
24/01711 seeks to overbrand this building with an excessive amount of fascia signage in cheap acrylic material contrary to the LPA’s guidance on development in CAs. In addition, the proposed blade/ projecting sign is of poor quality involving use of vinyl lettering. All signage should preferably comprise traditional hand painted sign writing or no worse than individually cut powder coated aluminium lettering displayed on risers.
Furthermore, fascia signage should be illuminated only if absolutely necessary - which is questionable in such a well lit location - & then with no more than discreet low emission trough lighting. Projecting signs must be unlit.
