Reason for objection:

We have expressed our views to the applicant in a pre-app consultation. In summary: while we recognise the need to improve this site, we oppose the proposed paint finishes to the interior of the bridge arch/ bay which are out of character with the grade 2* listed structure - our preference is for this brickwork to be left in its natural state albeit with an anti graffiti coating applied; the proposed lighting scheme is extremely basic & misses a major opportunity for something much more imaginative (which we have given the applicant an example of); we are disappointed by the lack of any interest/ wayfinder detail to the pathway.
