Response to the updated application:
Issued on 11 Dec 2024
Objection
The applicant has submitted an extremely lengthy ‘summary letter to officers’ setting out a number of changes to this scheme, in response to concerns raised by officers & other local stakeholders. Unfortunately they have included few if any useful CGIs (bar some cursory graphics of the rear boundary with Burnham Street in a ‘Heritage Addendum’) of the revised scale & massing of the development - our main concerns. We are therefore unable to support this updated PA in its current form.
Response to the original application:
Issued on 14 Aug 2024
Reason for objection:
Objection. Although not in the CA, this site abuts it & on account of its overwhelming scale, mass & height the proposed scheme would cause harm to the setting of the CA & its south western boundary, especially the attractive terrace of Victorian cottages in Burnham Street.
