Reason for objection:

Objection. Although moderated from its recently refused (26/00751) & withdrawn PAs, this applicant’s latest proposal is still problematic. The use of acrylic & vinyl materials in the proposed signage would breach the LPA’s CAGG which makes clear that plastic materials are actively discouraged particularly on listed buildings, such as this one, & more generally in the Old Town CA. The applicant appears to be ignorant of this guidance as it fails to reference it in its heritage impact statement.
