Reason for objection:

Objection unless as revised below.

Proposed front skylights, although conservation type, would be out of character with the original property & its neighbours (all terraced cottages), none of which have them. They should be removed from this application.

Also & despite being largely hidden from the public realm, the proposed rear dormer appears overly large/ not subservient to the original property with a black zinc finish that seems out of keeping with the original character & appearance of this terrace of period cottages notwithstanding the applicant citing the odd precedent elsewhere in the Borough. It should therefore be reduced in scale & finished in more traditional materials.
