Reason for objection:

Objection unless as revised below.

Whilst we are supportive of this scheme as a whole, the following details need to be resolved:
a) The left hand door is shown as a giant menu in the visuals this should not be allowed as detrimental to the Conservation setting and should be finished, matching and in keeping with the existing external treatment of the pavilion.
b) The awning is of cheap appearance, not suitable for the Conservation Area Setting and should be constructed to match the existing ‘porch’ on the South elevation.
c) The existing artwork on the west elevation should be retained and repaired rather than painted over.
