Reason for objection:

Objection. This tenant is subject of a formal complaint & enforcement case raised by the CAAC for proceeding with this re-branding several months ago - without permission. The acid yellow-painted frontage is considerably more intrusive than the previous occupant (a weathered teal colour), exacerbated by the twin acid yellow banner signs at first floor level (the previous occupant had one white banner). The colour palette & signage, including 2 no. projecting signs to the rear of the premises on Riverside, are in breach of the LPA’s guidance on development in CAs & cause harm to the character & appearance of Old Town CA.
