Reason for objection:

Objection. This signage is already up, which is reprehensible. The application is therefore retrospective & fails on the following counts: i) the fascia signage should not be internally illuminated, only discreet halo or trough lighting in a CA is permitted (CAGG refers); ii) use of cheap materials such as vinyl for signage graphics is strongly discouraged (CAGG); iii) the proposed background burgundy colour is incongruous due to its brightness & volume - the colour palette must be more neutral in order to blend with its neighbours/ surroundings (CAGG).
