Reason for objection:

Objection. This application follows 25/02825 which we objected to & was withdrawn by the applicant. We stand by our comments on that application: despite the applicant’s view to the contrary, the existing yew trees are mature, healthy specimens, one of which is clearly visible from & is a positive contributor to the public realm. In our opinion, TPOs should only be set aside if there are very compelling reasons for doing so. Opening up the view from inside this applicant’s new purpose built rear extension is no such reason. These TPOs & trees should remain in situ. Yews are slow growing and very long living so become particularly important.
