Reason for objection:

Objection unless revised as below.

The proposed new side extension would match that of its neighbour (#1) &, although imposing on the public realm, we struggle to find material grounds for refusal. However, the applicant also seeks to move/ extend the rear building line of the existing first storey, which would result in a loss of symmetry & a curious juxtaposition of roof lines/ angles compared with its neighbour (#1). Like the rest of the rear elevation, this element would be clearly visible from the public realm & in our view should be refused.
