Reason for objection:
Objection. The proposed fascia signage is acceptable. But the projecting signage, both existing & proposed, is in breach of the LPA’s guidelines on development in CAs. Only one such sign is permitted on shop frontage, it should be hung at ground floor level, not above the restaurant’s fascia, & should be unlit. We also disapprove of the vinyl graphics: they should be replaced ideally with traditional hand painted lettering or another equivalent quality finish.
