Reason for objection:
Objection. Our concerns about stage 1 of this applicant’s proposals (26/00332) are compounded by this stage 2 PA. In particular: the installation of karaoke rooms in this grade 2* listed building is completely inappropriate & must be refused; we also object to the appearance of the proposed bamboo screening, track lighting & cheaply fabricated reception desk (same as stage 1); in addition no details have been provided of floor finishes, new signage & furniture (similar to stage 1) - a material concern given this applicant’s poor track record to date. As stipulated in our stage 1 appraisal, any stage 2 alterations to the existing building must be signed off by the relevant Officer after physical inspection.
We have concerns regarding fire safety of all this stud partitioning and cheaply fabricated mdf/hardwood reception desks
