Reason for objection:
Objection. This applicant has been in breach of the LPA’s planning controls for more than a year. In particular it has been responsible for temporary canvas signage, front & rear (the rear signage has in fact collapsed), throughout that period, causing harm to the character & appearance of the listed building & surrounding CA. Whilst this PA is a step in the right direction the proposed materials for the new fascia signage are unacceptable. We do not support the usage of acrylic lettering which is at odds with the LPA’s revised guidance on development in CAs.
